Here is the simple way to calculate your gratuity. As per Indian Government Act, an employee should work more than 4.8 years with the present employer eligible for the gratuity. As we all know how a company calculate the employee's gratuity after completing his/her 5 years with the company. Here is the calculation -

Gratuity is calculated as under:


15/26 x Pay (Basic + DA) x Number of Years of Service and period over six months is treated as one year
