Azhar's son dies of injuries from bike accident

Image
After battling for life for five days, Mohammad Ayazuddin, the son of former Indian cricket captain and MP Mohammed Azharuddin, died on Friday. The doctors at Apollo Hospital declared him dead after neurological tests confirmed that the youngster’s brain had become dysfunctional. The budding cricketer was critically injured in a road accident on the Outer Ring Road on September 11 while riding his superbike at a high speed. "Ayazuddin has expired today, five days after being critically injured in road accident," the Apollo doctors said. The 19 year old youngest son of Azharuddin was riding a 1000 CC sports motorcycle along with his cousin, Ajmal, when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed. Ajmal, whose mother is Azharuddin's sister, died a few hours later. He was 16. On Monday, the doctors had removed one of Ayazuddin's damaged kidneys. Despite their best efforts, they could not save him. Ayazuddin had played in the under-13, under-15 and under-19 side

Ambati Rambabu 'Rasaleelalu' caught by ABN

Image
The early morning sensational “scoop” carried by ABN Andhra Jyothy channel on Friday exposing the alleged sexual abuse by YSR Congress party official spokesman Ambati Rambabu created a sensation in the political circles. The channel “broadcast” a tape containing voice of Ambati indulging in “cheap talk” with a woman, asking her to come to his residence and spend the night with him. One could easily identify the voice of Ambati, but not that of the woman, as it was not completely heard. According to the conversation, Ambati had invited the woman to his residence at Anandnagar (in Hyderabad or Guntur?). “Except my cook, there would be no other person in the house. Which dress do you wear? (The woman says jeans and t-shirt). Whatever the dress may be, you have to remove it, don’t you?” says his voice. The channel says Ambati has been luring women who come to meet YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. “If you want to meet Jagan, you have to take care of my needs,” Am

Jagan to suspend Ambati from YSR Congress Party?

Image
If one were to go by the report being carried by ABN Andhra Jyothy, YSR Congress party official spokesman Ambati Rambabu is most likely to be suspended from the party for alleged sexual abuse of women. Party president and Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy watched the story telecast by ABN Andhra Jyothy channel at the residence of party leader Katari Eshwar Kumar in Vijayawada. He immediately called up Ambati and shouted at him for misbehaving with women. “I thought you are a gentleman; but I never expected that you would stoop down to such a level. It is your fortune that you are not in front of me. Otherwise, I would have fired you,” Jagan reportedly told Ambati. Jagan immediately called former minister Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose and asked him to inquire into the matter. If the allegations are proved, he might suspend Ambati from the party, sources said. Meanwhile, Ambati desperately tried to get the ABN Andhra Jyothy channel blacked out from telecasting the report, using his inf

As per the recommendations of the committee constituted to review facilities available under FEMA, the central bank has taken such steps. RBI has allowed residents of India to include non-resident close relative in their resident bank accounts on 'former or survivor' basis. However, such non-resident relative shall not be eligible to operate the account during resident's lifetime, it said in a notification. It also permitted NRIs to open NRE/FCNR account with their resident clos
