Amrita Medical Entrance Examination will be held on May 22 from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. for admission to MBBS/ BDS course conducted at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi. The entrance test centres will include Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam (Amritapuri), Kochi, Kozhikode, Coimbatore, Chennai, Hyderabad, New Delhi and Kolkata. Prospectus and application forms will be distributed from the branches of Dhanalaxmi Bank and Federal Bank from March 1 to April 25 on payment of Rs.1,250 as the cost of application. Application forms can also be downloaded from the web site www.amrita.edu from March 1 onwards. Online application facilities will also be provided from March 1 onwards.
 
Students who have passed Plus Two/ equivalent examination with physics, chemistry, biology/ biotechnology with at least 60 per cent marks taken together, and 60 per cent marks in English can apply. Those who appear for the qualifying examination in March/ April 2011 are also eligible to apply. Last date: April 30. Web site: www.amrita.edu
