Sharmila, the daughter of late YSR, has outshined her brother YS Jaganmohan Reddy by leading the campaign of YSR Congress from the front in Parakala constituency of Telangana. In fact, it was in Telangana alone where there is no sign of Jagan's wave and he even failed get the support of people here for his Odarpu Yatra. But still, YS Vijayamma and Sharmila managed to draw a massive crowds to their roadshows in Parakala.
Describing her brother who is in Chanchalguda now as a caged lion, Sharmila said he is a lion whether its inside or outside of Jail. Launching a staggering attack on CM Kiran, she questioned him why he dropped out at the last minute from accompanying former CM YSR to Rachabanda program on the day her father was killed in chopper crash. Sharmila is miles ahead of Jagan now, with her crowd pulling capacity and hard hitting political speeches.
Although TRS, Telangana JAC, Osmania and Kakatiya students threatened with dire consequences if YSR Congress takes up campaign program in Telangana without making their stand clear on statehood, none of them staged protests when Vijayamma and Sharmila conducted roadshows on Friday. Does this mean both Jagan camp and pro-Telangana activists have come to an understanding? May be!
