Is Aadhaar Number is mandatory to get the Subsidy GAS Cylinder?

Recently few of GAS agencies announced and given a news to the News Papers and Media that Aadhaar Card Number is required to have the Subsidized Cylinder from now on. They gave the dead line to submit the Aadhaar number by 15th February.

Ratna Gas Agencies in Pragathi Nagar area announced all their customers around KPHB, Nizampet, Miyapur areas to submit the Aadhar card number at the earliest to get the benefit of subsidy GAS Cylinder which costs just only Rs.420. Otherwise they need to pay Rs.1046/- per cylinder (this is without subsidy amount).
