Ticket Price hike for Rajadhani, Shatabdi and Duronto Trains

Rajadhani, Shatabdi and Duronto express trains price hiked from October 17th 2013 onwards. Ticket price hike could be from Rs.25 to Rs.30 as told by the Railways Senior officer.

As per them, Railway didn't hike the ticket prices, they hiked only the food charges served in the train, hence can see the hike in the ticket price.

Since 14 years there is no hike in the food related items, now that is adjusted to cover the loses. The new price hike would be from 17th of this month.

Those who already booked the tickets in advance, the Ticket Collector would ask for the hiked charges, that rest of the amount need to pay to the TTE.
