Konidala Siva Sankara Vara Prasad changed to Konidela Chiranjeevi now would expect to become a new Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (Seemandhra) in the BC quota. If this happens, his dream will come true.

Botsa Satyanarayana (PCC President), Kanna Lakshminarayana are in the race along with Chiranjeevi. Congress High Command looking for the good face value person cum leader cum who can manage the current situation after the AP state bifurcation.


Chiranjeevi (Union Minister of Tourism) has the face value and he can capture the Kapu Caste voting in Seemandhra. However his administration skills is in question. However, he supported Congress when in very key situation and merged PRP into Congress. This could help that he would get a chance.

Botsa Satyanarayana doesn't have the face value, however he has money to spend for the elections as he has liquor mafia behind him.

Kanna Lakshminarayana is a senior leader in Congress and won six times as an MLA from Guntur district and he has good contacts with other senior leaders in the Congress High Command.

Out of these three, Chiranjeevi has better chances to become a Chief Minister of Seemandhra. We would this news in next 2 days of time from Delhi.
