In the view of Supreme Court orders, EAMCET 2014 Engineering Counselling is moving forward. 28th July Monday there is a meeting held on this and decided to announce the engineering counselling date on 30th of this month. Telangana EAMCET staff didn't attend to this meeting, as quorum is attended decided to announce the dates on 30th July.

Andhra Pradesh government is planning to stop the EAMCET exams from 2015-2016 year onwards and they are planning to follow Tamilnadu as an example in this regard. Based on Intermediate merit marks and percentage,engineering and medicla admissions would be allocated. However, the discussions are still going on this and there is a committee going to visit Tamilnadu to work on this. Currently based on EAMCET ranking system, the engineering and medical seats will be allocating to the students. However, before giving the EAMCET rank, Inter marks weightage is considering so far.

WASHINGTON: US has assured to protect the interests of hundreds of Indian students at the University of Northern Virginia (UNVA), which was raided by investigating and law enforcement agencies on suspected charges of alleged visa fraud. In a day-long exercise, which was continuing late in the evening, dozens of officials, from different federal agencies including Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Federal Bureau of Investigation ( FBI)), entered the Annandale campus of the university and took away with them a large number of boxes full of documents and computer hard drives from its administrative division. Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) conducting CAT 2011 Admission Test for a pre-requisite admission to various management programmes in IIMS and otehr Major Business Schools. According to IndiaTimes News, CAT 2011 will have two sections instead of three, and an additional five minutes to tackle the test. “These two sections will be implemented sequentially with separate time limits. The examination will be 140 minutes. Candidates will have 70 minutes to answer 30 questions within each section, which will have an on-screen countdown timer.
