Sr Actor Naresh quits from BJP, started NGO to do Social Service
Former Bharatiya Janata Party yuva morcha leader and actor Naresh has announced that he was quitting politics as he had realized that it was a mere waste of time.
Instead, Naresh said he would dedicate his rest of life for the service activities. He said he, along with his wife Ramya, would establish a non-government organization (NGO) and take up social service in Rayalaseema region. “I am inspired by the activities of Bhagwan Satya Sai Baba and Rayalaseema Development Trust founder Father Vincent Ferer, who did yeoman service for the poor of this region. My NGO will be non-political and non-profitable,” Naresh said.
Naresh resigned from the post of State BJP vice-president in 2009 itself stating that he was totally shattered with the performance of the party in the recent elections. However, he continued to be a member of the BJP as an ordinary member.
