Odisha (Orissa) is the late entrant into the UIDAI Aadhaar enrollment process. The Unique Identification Authority of India, a central government authority of the implementation of Aadhaar Enrollment across the country has started the Aadhaar Enrollment process in Orissa during May 2011. The process was initiated from teh capital city of Orissa, Bhubaneshwar. The prople of Orissa can now enrol themselves for the Aadhaar Cards. Along with Bhubaneshwar, Aadhaar Enrollment camps will also be rolled out in other major cities such as Cuttack, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Bolangir, Brahmapur, Balasore, Malkangiri and Puri.

The Government of Orissa is in the process of opening more number of enrollment camps to make the process simple and hassle free. People along with their family members have to turn up in person at the nearby by enrollment camp. The officials at the camp will take finger prints and IRIS along with other details of family members like age, education, profession etc. Children below the age of five years need not give IRIS as they will not form perfectly. They need to submit the same after the completion of 5 years and their Aadhaar Unique ID Number will remain the same as before.

People have to take proper / accepted residence proof and photo ID proofs along with them to the Aadhaar enrollment center. Though there is no deadline to issue Aadhaar cards after enrollment, you may expect it within six months. You can also track the status of your enrollment through submitting the registration number and date and time of your registration on the official website.
